Too many people today are living negative and discouraged because they don't like where they are in life. But in order to see change and see God open up new doors, the key is to bloom right where you're planted. Instead of waiting things for change and fighting against everything that comes your way, stay in faith and simply be all that God has created you to be right where you are. We all have times and situations where we're not ideally where we would like to be, but Psalm 37 says that our steps are ordered by the Lord. That means as long as we stay in faith, God will get us where we need to be. By blooming where you are planted, you'll not only live your life happy and enjoy your life more, but you're sowing a seed for God to take you where He wants you to go.

God has a divine destiny for each one of us to fulfill. We each have seeds of greatness and treasure inside waiting to be recognized and released. It's easy to stay comfortable in our comfort zone, using only ten percent of what God has given us. But in order to rise higher, we have to do our part to develop our confidence in God and step out of our comfort zone whenever needed. When we make a move, God will make a move. Do all you can in the natural; and God will, in return, do the supernatural in your life. When you learn to stretch your faith and step out of your comfort zone, you'll not only overcome obstacles that look insurmountable, but you will accomplish more than you ever thought possible and fulfill your God-given destiny.

Happiness is a choice. It's easy to come up with excuses to delay our happiness. If we have to always wait for something to happen to make us happy, we will find that there is always something else that can keep us from being happy. Psalm 118 says, "This is the day the Lord has made. I will rejoice and be glad in it." When you understand that God is directing your steps, you know in full confidence that where you are is not an accident; it's all a part of God's divine plan. Learn to be happy where God has you right now. Make the choice to celebrate each day as a gift from God. As you choose to live your life happy, you'll not only enjoy life more, but you'll brighten the day for others and see God open new doors in your life to get you where you want to be. God promises your joy will be full.

One touch of God's favor can cause you to go further than you ever could in your own natural ability. What you think should take you five, ten, or even twenty years to accomplish, God wants to help you accomplish quicker than you've ever imagined possible. Why? Because God doesn't follow a natural timetable; He's the God of acceleration. Even in the face of giant obstacles, disappointments and setbacks, these adversities could be the very thing God uses to promote you, where you see God speed up the time and help you accomplish something that should have taken your whole lifetime. God wants to make up for lost time. All you need is one touch of God's favor, and you'll go from thinking that it's never going to happen to saying, "Wow, God! You've amazed me with Your goodness. You have done more than I could even ask or think!"

The moment God puts a promise in your heart, He establishes a set time to bring it to pass. Habakkuk 2:3 says, "The vision is for an appointed time. Though it tarry, wait earnestly for it. It will surely come." It won't be one second late. When we understand this, we won't live frustrated and discouraged when things aren't happening as quickly as we would like because we know God is lining up everything as it should be for the appointed time. When it's your time, nothing can stop it from happening. You can stay in faith knowing with full confidence that your time is coming!

Life is too short to wait around for happiness. When our dreams and goals start to frustrate us and we lose our peace to where we're not enjoying life, that's a sure sign that we're holding on too tightly and need to let go and release it to God. We don't have to worry that our God-given dreams are not going to come to pass or that things aren't happening as quickly as we would like. Just simply let go and trust God. 1 Peter says, "If you put your trust in the Lord, you will never be disappointed." You can stay in peace knowing that your future is in God's hands. He controls the whole universe. As long as your trust is in Him, He will get you to where you're supposed to be.

God longs to continually bless us and take us higher, but when we operate out of a critical spirit, we're limiting what God wants to do in our lives and hurting ourselves in the long run. When we are critical and judgmental of others, we are sowing seeds for others to be critical and judgmental back to us. Just as one develops the habit of seeing the worst in life, we can train ourselves to see the best in others and situations. Honor God with your conversations and even in your thoughts about others. When someone is critical toward you, don't be critical back. As you keep a pure heart and train yourself to see the best, magnifying the good rather than the bad, then you will see Gods promotion and blessings in your life in greater ways.

When God laid out the plan for our lives, He lined up the right people, the right breaks and the right opportunities. Scripture says that time and chance will come together for every person. That means there are moments of favor that God has already released into your future. If you could pull back the curtain and see your whole life, you would see how God has already lined up the right breaks to come across your path. He has already arranged certain people to be good to you. He has already picked out the right husband or wife for you and your children. He has already lined up solutions to problems you haven't even had. God has it already released into your future. These moments of favor, moments of blessing, moments of increase will help you overcome obstacles, accomplish goals and even thrust you years ahead. Even when things are not happening as fast as you would like, you can stay in peace knowing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way if you keep your trust and faith in Him. You don't have to live worried and anxious, you can be at rest knowing that God has ordained moments of favor in your future!

Ephesians 3:20 says, "God is able to do exceedingly, abundantly above and beyond all we can imagine." When you live a life that honors God by obeying His Word and you are a person of excellence and integrity, then the Scripture says that God's blessings will chase you down and overtake you. You won't be able to outrun the good things of God. God doesn't want you to have an average life with average relationships, just barely getting by. No, God desires that in all things you prosper in Him. He wants to amaze you with His goodness. He wants to mend broken relationships, bring healing, and do the impossible in your life. But too often, we let our past set the tone for our future and we're not really expecting anything different. God wants us to shake off the old and embrace the new thing He wants to do in our lives now, expect His far and beyond favor now. When your highest priority is to please the Lord and you make the decision that you're going to keep your heart pure before God and do your best to honor Him, then His blessings will automatically follow, and you will experience His far and beyond favor!

One of the greatest needs is to feel a sense of self-worth. Deep down we need to know that we're important, that our life matters, and that we have something great to offer. But so often, we base our self-worth on our looks, what we've achieved, what we own, how perfect a life we've lived, or what others say or think of us. The problem with this is those things can change. If you're basing your self-worth on your looks, your accomplishments, or your popularity; then when that goes down, your self-worth will go down. But if you place your value in Almighty God, nothing you or anyone else do can ever change that value. People may reject you, but God accepts you. Other people may overlook you, but God sees you. The One who matters the most chooses you and has equipped you for everything you need in life. The value God put in you is permanent. If you'll learn to receive your value from your Heavenly Father and listen to what He says about you, then you'll go around feeling accepted, approved, redeemed, forgiven, confident and secure. You won't be easily moved by your circumstances and what others may say. You will continually rise to the top because you understand your value in Almighty God!

The opinion you have of yourself is the most important opinion that you have. Too many people go around feeling wrong on the inside not realizing that how they feel about themselves is affecting what is perceived by others around them, and in return, affecting their relationships, their opportunities and overall life. But God wants you to have a different opinion of yourself. You are created in the image of God and are fearfully and wonderfully made. You may not feel worthy at times, but He has made you worthy. When you come to Christ, you are no longer a sinner living in a weak worm of the dust mentality. You are a new creation; a son, a daughter of the Most High God. You have good in you, the spirit of Almighty God dwelling in you telling you, "You are a victor and can do all things." When we go against that and have a poor opinion of ourselves, feeling inferior, intimidated, and insecure, it doesn't bring any honor to God. Instead, it's like we are criticizing His creation. So often it's easy to see the best in others, but it's important to start seeing the best in yourself. We were created to soar, and it all starts with our thinking and how we view ourselves. Don't go through life being against yourself. God wants you to feel good about who you are and take you places that you have never dreamed! It's time to get in agreement with God and dwell on your victories and the good qualities God has given you. If you want to see God open doors that no man can shut, if you want your faith to become effective, you have got to put your shoulders back, hold your head up high and start seeing yourself the way God sees you!

God created us as visual beings. Did you know how you see yourself will determine what kind of life you live? Every one of us has a mental picture of our family, our future and ourselves. In result, you will move toward the image that's in your mind and eventually produce what you keep in front of you. If you have an image of success, victory, health, happiness and abundance; you will naturally gravitate toward that. But if you have an image of lack, defeat or mediocrity; unfortunately, that will keep you from God's best and limit where you're going and your God-given potential. If you're going to be successful in life and in your Christian walk, you have to first see yourself successful and get a vision of victory. Sight has to do with what we can see, but vision has to do with what we can be. Start seeing yourself the way God created you to be: as the head and not the tail, above and not beneath, a victor and not a victim. See yourself rising higher, living the abundant life God has for you. If you will see yourself the way you want to be and keep a vision of increase, abundance, health and happiness in front of you, then God will do amazing things in your life. You will rise higher and look up one day and find yourself living your dreams and walking in total victory! Remember, your imagination has incredible power! It's time to start painting new pictures in your mind and make room for the great things God has in store for you!

A breakthrough is a sudden burst of God's favor. It's an explosion of His goodness. It's when all of the sudden, God releases His power in such a way that you're overwhelmed by His goodness. Like the powerful force of water during a flood can move objects weighing thousands of pounds, even homes; that same magnitude of strength is the same way God wants to move in our lives. Even during the difficult times when situations and circumstances look extremely large, when obstacles look impassable and dreams look unobtainable, God desires to show up and release His power. Even during intense moments of feeling overwhelmed, God desires to show up and prove Himself strong. David was overwhelmed at times, especially when his army was outnumbered with little chance of winning during a battle. But David asked God for help, and God didn't just show up and help a little. David described God's help in 1 Chronicles as the bursting forth of water breaking his enemies. God is longing to be good to us and show up in powerful ways in our lives, yet we have to do our part and believe and expect it each day. Scripture says it is our faith that pleases God. When we release our faith, it allows God to work in greater ways. God wants to overwhelm you with His goodness, and release His power like a tidal wave of His favor in your life! When the God of the breakthrough shows up and releases His power, it will be like a flood of His goodness, a flood of His favor, healing and new opportunity; and nothing will be able to stop it!

We all go through situations where we are not treated fairly. When this happens, the natural thing to do is to defend ourselves and set the record straight. Our human nature wants to get even. But did you know God has a different way of doing things? God has a plan for you to succeed even during unfair situations. If you'll let Him, He will make all your wrongs, right because God is the greatest vindicator of all. Romans 12:19 says, "Never avenge yourself but leave the way open for God." That means, whenever we face unfair situations, instead of being discouraged, trying to get even and do things in our own strength, we should simply release our faith and watch God go to work. The good thing is, God doesn't just fight your battles for you, He goes on and blesses and promotes you in front of your enemies and those who have persecuted you. When we let God vindicate us, He makes us far better off than we could ever be on our own! When you stay faithful and do the right thing, even when the wrong thing is happening to you, your character is being developed and prepared for God to pour out his favor and blessings that will push you into a new level of His goodness. If you'll keep an attitude of faith, knowing whom your vindicator is, God will not only increase you and bless you but He will make sure to get you where you need to be where you will have the last laugh!

Every one of us has people in our life that need our blessing and approval. However, a blessing is not a blessing until it's spoken. When you speak, "I'm proud of you. I love you. You are talented. You mean the world to me" to someone, you're not just being kind, you are speaking the blessing over their life. Your words have creative power; they carry God's supernatural power. Just like you pull back a bow and shoot an arrow, the moment you speak the blessing, God releases favor, ability, wisdom, confidence, and His goodness in extraordinary ways. One word of encouragement, one word of approval can be what helps others around you really step up to who God created them to be and help shape their destiny. We need to learn to live blessing minded, not, "How can I get a blessing today?" but, "Where can I speak a blessing?" When you wake up in the morning, tell your spouse, "I love you. I'm glad you're in my life." Before your children leave for school, give them a big hug and tell them, "I'm proud of you. You're going to be great today." When you do that, you're not only releasing favor into their future but you're releasing favor into your own future because when you help someone else rise higher, that's a seed that you're sowing and God will make sure someone is there to help you rise higher!

Something powerful happens when we vocally express to God our faith in Him through a shout of praise. Scripture is filled with stories of when God's people lifted up a shout of praise. Supernatural things took place: prison doors were opened, enemies became confused, huge walls came tumbling down, and supernatural favor was released. Proverbs 29:6 says, "Evil people are trapped by their own wrongdoing, but the righteous escape by shouting for joy." When you find yourself in a situation where you feel trapped, or it looks like there is no way out in your health, your finances, a relationship, or a legal circumstance, don't get down and discouraged. Don't start complaining. You have a secret weapon: Shout for joy! When we lift up a shout of praise, when we vocalize our thanksgiving, when we bless the Lord with out whole hearts, our shouts cause God to release His power in a supersized way. It's like God shifts everything into a higher gear of releasing His favor. New doors are opened, favor is released, and breakthrough is experienced. God goes to work arranging your escape, moving the wrong people out of the way, opening the right doors and fighting your battles for you. These shouts of joy not only allow God to bring the victory but it's announcing to the enemy we're coming to a higher level. When we have the high praises of God coming out of our mouth, in the unseen realm things begin to change in your favor. There is a declarative power in a shout.

God wants your life to be filled with peace and joy. He wants you to enjoy everyday living! Scripture tells us to redeem the time. That simply means you should not let the gift of time go to waste and be distracted, unfocused, unhappy, negative, or defeated; but make the most of each day. Things may not be perfect and you may have some obstacles, but each day lived is a day you can't get back. When you realize your time is limited, you don't respond to every critic. You don't waste your time trying to convince people to like you that are never going to like you. You accept the fact that not everyone is going to understand you. Not everyone is going to give you their approval. But that's okay. You just continue to run your race focused on God and not man. In 2nd Corinthians it says, "Don't squander one bit of the marvelous life God has given you." Notice, it says don't waste one tiny bit. Don't waste another second focused on the negative and what you don't have in life. Don't waste another minute being discouraged and depressed. Don't go another day with unforgiveness and bitterness in your heart. When you learn to see each day as a gift, you will live more intentional. You will realize when you spend your time; you are spending your life. You have a responsibility to redeem the time that God has given you. He's entrusted you. You can either invest it or you can waste it. If you run every step with purpose, accepting and appreciating the gift of today, then you are redeeming your time. You're not only going to enjoy your life, but God is going to increase you and promote you. You're going to overcome your obstacles, and you'll see your gifts and talents come out to the full!

When God created us, He put seeds of increase on the inside. We were never made to reach one level and stop. We were created to grow, to move forward, and to increase despite opposition that may come against us. Yet, all throughout life, there will be forces of darkness trying to work against you and push you down, limiting your influence and keeping you from taking any new ground. But you don't have to let it keep you down. You have the Almighty God living on the inside, and because of that, He anoints you do all things through His strength. His anointing on your life is just like oil; when something tries to stop you or hold you down, it doesn't have a chance; it will just slide off. If you're going to become everything God has created you to be, you can't get stuck in a rut and think you've reached your limits whenever opposition comes. You've got to keep stretching your faith, looking for new opportunities, new ideas, and new ways to expand your influence. You have to stand in faith, knowing the power of Almighty God in your life! God's spirit makes you uncontainable, but you have to rise up with a holy determination and release your faith so that nothing will keep you down because you know that the force in you, the Spirit of Almighty God, is far greater than any force in the world trying to contain you. Dare to take steps of faith and believe in God's uncontainable power inside of you.

We all have sinned and made mistakes, but once we ask for forgiveness, scripture says God will not remember our sins anymore. The moment you asked God for forgiveness, He forgave you. So when the accusing voice comes reminding you of what you've done wrong, trying to make you feel guilty, condemned and unworthy, that's a sure sign it's not God; it's the voice of the accuser. Romans 8:1 says, "There is no condemnation when we're in Christ Jesus." One way to know that guilt and condemnation are not from God is that you are not improving. It doesn't make you do better. Guilt is like being on a treadmill; you're constantly working and struggling and sweating, but you're not going anywhere. It drains your strength, your energy and your enthusiasm. It affects you emotionally and physically, and eventually, influences your relationships. Guilt makes you feel like you're carrying around a heavy load. But when we silence the accuser in our life, our heavy load is lifted and we walk in freedom. When we focus on the right things, we move forward in the right direction. When you know the truth, the truth sets you free. And the truth is: God has already forgiven you, accepts you and approves you. But it's up to you to rise up in that freedom and leave the guilt behind. You can't do anything about your past, but you can do something about your future; you can receive God's mercy, keep moving forward and silence the voice of the accuser in your life.
