I have just a few more pictures to put up from Austin City Limits. Here's a few recordings from the after show on Sunday evening with M. Ward/ Jenny Lewis/ and Conor Oberst and the Mystic Valley Band. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of the songs with Gillian Welch and Dave Rawlings. The show was quite amazing.

St. Vincent's cover of the Beatles' 'Dig a Pony' circulated the blogosphere awhile ago, but it's the song that I am currently obsessed with. This video is of St. Vincent performing that song for the Black Cab Sessions.

Whispertown 2000 (long time friends of the Jenny Lewis crew in LA) are releasing their new album titled Swim on October 21st. Their sound is really very sweet and appealing. This album is the follow up to their 2006 release Livin in Dream. This fall they will likely have some tour dates, as well as some into 2009. Whispertown 2000 are Morgan Nagler, Tod Adrian Wisenbaker, Vanesas Corbala, and Casey Holden Wisenbaker. Look for the new album out on Acony Records.
