****$4500 OBO or Trade***** The engine runs great, transmission pulls/shifts perfect, steering is great, suspension great, brakes great (ABS), everything works as it should. This is a work truck with vinyl bench seats, manual windows/locks, good heat, body looks great, minimal surface rust on the bed, no damage (If you don't like the color, go get a $500 Macco paint job, they're running a special right now...might be less, cars are $250 to get painted right now). Perfect truck to drive as-is for construction, pulling trailers, service truck, salt truck, plow truck, etc.

6.5 turbo diesel engine only has 86,000 miles. Heavy duty 4L80E automatic transmission (2wd). Truck has 127,000 miles on chassis/transmission/body (low for the year/model). Old engine's head gasket began leaking and I waited too long to fix it, allowing water to get down in the bottom end and into the oil. I had an engine shop pull the 86k engine out of a wrecked truck, and install aftermarket head gaskets on it to make sure this wouldn't happen again. They checked out the engine when it was apart, and insured me it would go to 300k or more without problem.

These trucks value in the 5-6 thousand dollar range with no options and 127k miles on KBB.com. That's not including the newer engine. There are work trucks like this selling for 4 to 5 thousand dollars with almost 200k miles on them. I'd like to get the $5000 I have into it. It runs and drives great, but it has a power steering leak which needs to be fixed before any long drives (still runs/drives great, just have to add fluid everyday). A couple hundred dollars, less if you do it yourself. If it is the line from the pump to the booster leaking (as I think it is), it will be a $10 fix if you do it yourself. I was going to do this, but its too cold to mess with without a place to work on it inside.... I will do this or have it done if someone needs it done and its a deal breaker....

IF IT SELLS, I WILL DELETE THE LISTING. Its a great work truck. This truck will hold up a long time if you take care of it. It gets 20 mpg and cruises nice on the highway at 70 mph. It has the power of a big block with better gas mileage than a small block. It's easily converted to run on vegetable oil, and it will run on bio diesel from the factory (Save 60 cents a gallon buying bio diesel, or make your own for less than a dollar a gallon). There's also tax credits for people and businesses using and making bio diesel, so this truck can end up saving you even more. It will pay itself off in fuel savings alone.

SLT Sport Model with Cummins Diesel. 50k plus miles. Grey cloth enterior. 1990 Black chevy 1500 sport. 305, auto. runs good but has a rattle in the motor sometimes and sometimes doesn't. Starts easy, has nice 33inch mud tires. Body is in overall good condition, interior isn't bad either. truck has 174000 miles, I am about to put a 350 in the truck if I do the price goes up.
