The Vampire Diaries - 1x04 'Family Ties' :

How funny was it when Damon was reading one of the Twilight books and then lamenting about how much he missing Anne Rice novels? God I love how cheesy and fabulous this show is...especially because you can tell that a lot of the actors feel the same way. This show is like the perfect no brainer 'fluff' piece that I need before Supernatural because it just doesn't make me think and my mind is relaxed and ready for the trials and tribulations of the Winchester boys after it's over. That being said...Ian Somerhalder? HOT!! ;)

OK and now onto the fabulous adventures of Cheech and Chong...oops! I mean Dean, Dean and Castiel :)

SUPERNATURAL 5x04 - "The End":

Hopefully there won't be too many more 'horror' flicks in their futures...

• I really like how they brought back the 'demon virus' and actually used it in the plan for Lucifer's world domination...especially because we all know that Sam is immune to it and of course Lucifer would use it once he obtained Sam's body, it makes perfect sense and I'm so glad that the writers remembered/thought of it again.
• Jensen Ackles deserves at least an Emmy nomination
• Castiel is the most awesomest stoner!sex guru/hippie of all times....at least in 2014. ;)

I kinda have an idea about Supernatural and I'm thinking it might be something that could cause fandom to implode and drama on the show and just shock the hell outta people, so it'd totally be something that Kripke could do 'cause he likes to mess with 'us' lately....

So I was talking on the phone with Carina tonight and I started talking to her about Supernatural, which some of you might find weird 'cause she doesn't like the show at all anymore, but she's awesome like that and still lets me ramble and theorize about things to her..Anyways I was explaining to her about Dean = Michael's vessel and how I was right about Sam = Lucifer's vessel and well, now I have another idea that I wanted to just throw out there for y'all to think about.

I think the end of the show is going to be a final showdown between Good and Evil with Dean and Sam being used as the pawns...mainly because there's just no way that Supernatural can end with the boys picking daisies and skipping off into the sunset together, that's just not going to happen. Well...Dean has flat out refused to allow Michael permission to possess him, and Sam just told Lucifer last night that there was no way that he'd ever give his permission either...So knowing what we know about the Winchesters, like their pride, stubbornness and their self-sacrificing ways I think that once Sam confesses to Dean that he's Lucifer's vessel that Dean is going to make another deal...not just any deal though, this time it'll be a deal with the actual Devil.

I think that Dean will step up and tell Lucifer to possess him, to spare Sam the self hatred and guilt (that Dean already has after all his time in Hell)....and that Sam will end up being Michael's vessel in the end to 'save' Dean. Therefore Good vs. Evil...Sam vs. Dean but with a twist.

I mean obviously both boys are 'strong' enough to be possessed by 'angels' so why can't their destinies be switched? And doesn't it seem like such a 'Dean thing' to do? Plus, I'm still pretty damn sure that the end will be a fade to black battle between Sam and Dean that we'll never know the end result of, so why not switch it up and fuck with our heads even more?

So yeah, that's my random thought/idea for the night...what's yours?

Screw that, I liked the episode...a lot and this is my lj so I'm gonna post what I wanna post...here's my 'notes' for those of you that care.


SUPERNATURAL 5x03 - "Free to Be You and Me":

IN CONCLUSION:

• I'm a freakin' genius and totally called Sam being Lucifer's vessel MONTHS ago...see? And I'm pretty damn sure that if Kripke does actually go all out with the storyline that it'll be exactly what I've been so for so so long now and the final showdown will be between Lucifer!Sam and Archangel!Dean, but I don't think they'll show us the outcome, it'll just be the start of the fight and then it'll fade to black....
• Castiel has spent waaaay too much time with Dean and is now cussing, drinking, being snarky (well he was snarky before) and just being all around awesome. ;)
• I know a lot of people aren't going to like this episode for one reason or another, but I really really liked it and I think that this season has been one of the best ones yet and I'm so so anxious to see what happens next and just....yeah.
• I'm still just way too hyped up to coherently talk about this episode I think...

Hello, I'm back from volunteering today so let's get to the goodies.

Ummm....actually before I get to the Supernatural stuff let me just say that I've watched the first two episodes of 'the Vampire Diaries' and well....I kinda like it, but I'm a little annoyed by just about all of the acting in it as well. I personally think if my son was asleep by 8pm I'd watch 'Bones' but since he's usually awake until 8:30ish I'm going to stick with 'the Vampire Diaries' 'cause it's doesn't scare him. OH!! and I think it's hilarious that the hardcore 'Twilight' fans are up in arms over the show 'ripping off' Twilight 'cause if last night's Stefan & Elena 'Wuthering Heights' conversation was originally in the 'the Vampire Diaries' books, then Stephenie Meyer totally ripped off that author and not the other way around. *lol* Don't yell at me though! 'Cause I actually....well....I like the Twilight books and the movie. *facepalm*

• I think Sam and Dean actually need the break apart...knowing that each other are actually alive and 'ok'...I'm sure that they'll come back together after Sam figures out that he can trust himself and then regains Dean's trust and they'll kick major Apocalyptic ass

OK, so I know that I'm a complete slacker and I haven't been replying to emails or posting anything substantial lately...but, well I kinda need some help and I'm hoping that someone reading this can help me.

I'm working on a personal project for myself that has to do with the SPN convention in Vancouver next month and I'm stuck. I really really need some high quality screencaps of Gabriel Tigerman, Aldis Hodge and Jake Abel from their episodes of the show. I have 'caps, but they're all low-res and they won't work for what I need them for... So does anyone know of any super Hi-Res screencaps of these guys??? And does anyone have an awesome hi-res picture of the Impala?? Maybe a pic of the taillights or something??

Any help would be greatly greatly appreciated. When I'm all done with what I'm doing I'll let you all in on what exactly it is and how it turns out...

Ok, now I'm gonna go back to sweating in our 101 degree temperature...*ugh*

It's spn_j2_bigbang time again!! However this art post is actually one that I wasn't intending to do, but the author is a friend and something happened with her artist and I woke up this morning to a 'Please help me!' email so I'm really nervous about how this one will be received especially because Sarah hasn't seen any of this yet because she's at work now and also because I completed these within about 4 hours or so this afternoon, they would have been posted earlier today, but I had some family obligations to take care of first.

Anyways, this is the story summary:

Jared and Jensen have been together for almost four years. They have settled into their life together and are ready to move forward together, ready to take the next step in starting their family. It all sounded so simple in the adoption brochures, fill out a few forms, do a few interviews and get a baby. Simple, right? Only it’s not. It's that time of year again...spn_j2_bigbang time!! This art post is actually the first of two that I'll be doing this summer and I'm really anxious about this one...

Some of you know that I've been on a teenage!Sam kick lately so of course it shouldn't come as a surprise to a few of you that the first big bang that I'm posting artwork for this year has teen!Sammy in it! Anyways, this is the summary that jumped out at me and made me snatch up the chance to do the artwork...

The case that 17 year-old Sam dragged Dean to California for isn't exactly what Dean was expecting - particularly when Dean finds a letter with Stanford letterhead in Sam's backpack.

I mean seriously, teen angst and lies between the boys...what more could I ask for? *lol*

Most of you that know me can attest that when I make graphics for something, that I usually go overboard and this year....well I sorta did that again. So be prepared for lots of graphics under the cut.

OK, so I have the morning off of work and I'm trying to work on some artwork for one of the big bangs that I'm working with and I need help. Does anyone know which season one SPN episode it was that Sam wore the purple/blue dog shirt?? You know the one that had the whippet or the greyhound on it? He's in a motel room sitting on one of the beds with his laptop....anyone know which episode?

OH! and remember the scene with Dean in a gray t-shirt sanding over a grave that he just doused in salt and set on fire?? That's season one too, but anyone remember the episode?

So for reasons that are completely personal, I'm going to be locking down my entire lj....well, I'm going to be leaving old icons/graphic posts open but other than that EVERYTHING else will be friends locked including random fandom things such as episode recaps (I left last night's open 'cause I know a few of you that comment aren't mutual friends and I didn't want to just stop talking to you).

It has nothing to do with anything fandom related or LJ related, it's just how I want/need it to be right now....For those of you that I don't have friended back and that are just here for the random graphics update...well you should really go and join/watch keywee_icons , however I might do a big crossposting post here every once in awhile, just to show what I've been doing, but it  most likely won't be that often, especially since I've posted a bunch of stuff over there in the last month or two and I still haven't crosspost them here yet.

Oh man, so I finally let curiousity get the best of me....and I've been dazzled. Dazzled by a vamp and the human that he loves, that live in the town that my cousin Trever grew up in....*facepalm*


See? They're kinda adorable together, and cheesy movies are good movies and they made me laugh and...and Sharkboy is in the movie! and I think he's adorable and I'm shutting up. *lol*

Anyways, other than the whole 'dazzle/sparkle skin' thing, I actually liked the movie and I think I might buy it.
