I wanted to post a quick update on current happenings.  The site’s been quiet for awhile now, but in the non-digital world things have been rocking.

First off, if you haven’t gotten it already– JESUS CHRIST: IN THE NAME OF THE GUN VOLUME 1 : A HOLLOW COST was released last week world-wide.  Call your local comic shop and ask them to order it.  It sold out in a lot of places, but they should be able to do re-orders.  The product number is MAY09_0683F.  Here’s a handy graphic:

I’ve just been huffing and puffing for the last month trying to promote the shit out of this thing.  So if you’ve enjoyed reading it online, be sure to call and get this beaut in your hot little hands.  It’s over 100 pages, and has lots of extra sketches, notes and more.  Thanks to all who came to see us at San Diego Comic-Con, and the other signings.  You guys rock.

Episode 2 is coming along.  Along with some other things I can’t say too much about.  When you next see Jesus again, it will be released a bit differently than the pages here.  Bad Karma Productions is changing in a big way, and we’ve been working hard on that new plateau.  Stay tuned for more information.

JESUS CHRIST: IN THE NAME OF THE GUN episode 1: A HOLLOW COST is coming to stores world-wide as a graphic novel, over 100 pages in length. And you can order it THIS WEEK! In this Wednesday’s newest issue of PREVIEWS, look for “BAD KARMA PRODUCTIONS” and order the first graphic novel of many!  It will only be available for initial orders for a limited time, so be sure to call your comic shop and place your order as soon as you can.

Also, as a special treat, the artist for episode 2 of JC has been announced. Sam McKenzie is going to be the artist for Jesus’ voyage into the bowels (?) of the Spanish Inquisition. Pages will appear with regularity again soon, but in the meantime enjoy reading the first explosive episode of JC in it’s glorious entirety here.

We’ve made the online store live, and there are digital downloads available for order as well as t-shirts and more swag to come.

So, page 94 went up today which means for those of you who have been with us for a few months, you’ve now read the entire first story of JESUS CHRIST:  IN THE NAME OF THE GUN.  How’d you like it?

We’re not done yet.  There are more Jesus stories around the corner.  Many more.  But with a bit of a different face.  I don’t want to spoil anything.

So stick around.  There will be a lapse in pages next week, as we get the new story ready.  But we’re trying to make that break as short as possible so that you can keep getting your JC action hookup.

Also, anyday now this entire first story arc will be available for digital download in our online store!  So check back soon.

Thanks for reading.  The entire “Hollow Cost” story is collected in graphic novel format, and is coming out in JULY!  It will be available for order in the PREVIEWS that comes out at the end of this month (in just 2 weeks).

Walked into the local comic shop today and saw the first issue of “JESUS CHRIST:  IN THE NAME OF THE GUN” on the new release wall.

So I think that means the storm doors are open, people.  If you like what you’ve read here online so far, run down to your local comic store and pick yourself up 32 pages of explosive Jesus action.  Also, we’ve got a new announcement for you:

As you can probably see, the first chapter of the Jesus epic is coming to a close.  “A Hollow Cost” is wrapping up in the next few pages here online.  And guess what?  That means it’s time for you to buy it!  “JESUS CHRIST:  IN THE NAME OF THE GUN” VOLUME 1:  A HOLLOW COST is coming out WORLDWIDE in July!

We’ll be changing the site over to a new layout here, where you can either pre-order a copy of the book from us personally (though the book will also be available for order at all bookstores and comic stores world-wide), OR order chapters of JESUS in digital download format.  We’re also going to be opening up our first bit of merch for order, a JESUS CHRIST t-shirt next week.

And what’s next now that the evildoers of Berlin have been dealt with?  Well, don’t worry.  This story is far from over.  Stay tuned as Jesus continues on his mission to right wrongdoing– with a NEW ARTIST.
