Levi Johnston isn't the only one making porn headlines on this website. So too is Marine Cpl. David A. Bradberry, whose appearance in a Marine-geared magazine helped expose his other day job: performing in gay videos for the website ActiveDuty.com. As you might imagine, neither Bradberry nor ActiveDuty.com's owner is pleased with the coverage. Were we wrong to report a story based on publicly available information?

Three years ago, China banned director Lou Ye from making any more movies for five years, after he showed Summer Palace — about the government's crackdown on 1989's Tiananmen Square massacre — at the Cannes Film Festival. But the prohibition didn't stop Ye from shooting new projects. Last year, covertly taping with digital cameras, he shot Spring Fever — a bisexual love affair complete with graphic gay sex scenes. Not only did Ye take it to Cannes in May (where it won Best Screenplay), but now he's also taken it back to China.

The Leffews, fresh off its own bout of gay-on-gay attacks, are our go-to family on meaningful days. Like National Prayer Day, Mother's Day, and even Halloween. With today's National Transgender Day Of Remembrance, we tune in for a mini-history lesson on Rita Hester, the Boston trans-woman found stabbed to death in 1998.

It wouldn't be fair to brand all Sarah Palin devotees as such, but we're willing to place substantial sums of money on the claim that many of them can recite where Rush Limbaugh and Palin's values coincide.

Did Janet Jackson blend all of her previous music videos — "Rhythm Nation," "Scream," And "Love Will Never Do," just to name a few — to create the latest media marketing message for "Make Me"?

Professional wrestler Mick Foley is known, to those in the know, as "The Hardcore Legend." He will also take you out back, show you the inside of your own rectum, before wrapping Christmas gifts with your skin if you dare make fun of Will Phillips, Queerty's hero and American National Treasure.

Window Media's collapse led to the Washington Blade's staff creating the just-launched D.C. Agenda. But what about Window's Florida publications, 411 Magazine and the South Florida Blade? Those, too, will continue! Under new names, of course.

"I'm 19. I don't want that image. I don't want to get into porn. I don't want to get into X-rated adult videos." That's the soundbite Levi Johnston — the 19-year-old who helped create his own image as a porn star — fed to gossip gay Marc Malkin at GQ's Men of the Year party, which Levi either had no business being at or should have been the keynote speaker, depending on how you view this sort of thing.

"Sources" say the very anti-gay former New York City mayor wants to be New York's next U.S. senator. But also, "a number of sources said no decision has been made and a Giuliani spokeswoman downplayed the reports." Haha. This is how you float a possible campaign to test the waters!

When word arrived that President Obama selected Dr. Clifford Stanley, a retired Marine general, as his nominee for Under Secretary of Defense for Personnel and Readiness, we thought we'd finally have a senior ally on our side of the Don't Ask Don't Tell debate. So why isn't Stanley meeting our expectations?

Rick Warren, the anti-gay (and self-professed not-anti-gay) pastor who turned Barack Obama's presidential inauguration into a gay sideshow, is not a stupid man. A jovial bigot, sure. But not stupid. He understands that subscription to Judeo-Christian faith in the West is on the decline, and that's a huge impediment to winning his (homophobic) culture war. At least here in America. But the rest of the world? It's fertile ground to the Saddleback Church leader and other religious conservatives. And they're making the African continent their own Ground Zero to persecute, and sometimes eliminate, queers.

SOUNDBITES — "My burden is not to show that originalism is perfect but to show that it beats the other available alternatives. Did any provision of the Constitution guarantee a right to abortion? No one thought so for almost two centuries after the founding. Did any provision in the Constitution guarantee a right to homosexual sodomy? Same answer. … I accept it as a valid, democratically adopted instrument. And it has after all an amendment provision, which is available to everybody." —U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, delivering the keynote speech at a Ohio State University law school symposium, arguing the Constitution must be interpreted within the context of the history it was written, not today's modern times (via)

OMG you guys, fun! Some Roman Catholic leaders say they just simply aren't going to follow any same-sex marriage laws that force them to take part. They also won't follow any abortion laws that do the same. Which, actually, IS NOT A NEWS STORY, because religious institutions will always remain exempt from these rules.

So the 30-seconds of airtime that Equality California scored during the Miss California USA pageant? It was free! That's great news, particularly because the ad, while thoughtful, is an absolute waste when it comes to social politics. What's worse: The pageant also offered Carrie Prejean, the former reigning Miss California USA, her own free 30-seconds of commercial time during Sunday's broadcast.

Adam Lambert already told Out magazine editor Aaron Hicklin to "chill." To chill! HAHAHA. We love Lambert because he lives in the 80s. But, this is curious: For a guy attacked by Out for having his image over-manipulated by a group of handlers, Lambert certainly isn't letting anyone put an end to his tongue lashings. His most brutal so far?
