Our class instructor is an accomplished audio engineer and has recently returned to the Northeast after spending the last three years working in Southern California with Rivera Amplification, Center Staging and as an amplifier technician and guitar system designer for artists including Korn and Hed Pe. He has a bachelors degree in music business and an associated degree in audio engineering and has spent many years working with musicians to achieve their perfect tone.

For sale is a Rivera Chubster 55 watt all tube 1X12 combo guitar amp. This amp is in like new condition with no noticable blemishes. I'm the 2nd owner of the amp. With me it has been gigged with 3-4 times but other than that has stayed in my bedroom. The tubes have a lot of life left in them and sound great. The power tubes have recently been biased.
This amp has 2 fully independent channels, each with a boost function and includes reverb. It comes with the Rivera footswitch and cover. This is a factory custom dark green color (factory standard is red). This is an excellent, versatile amp for small gigs or recording.

NEW OLD STOCK, RIVERA TBR-5! PLEASE read the reviews yourself. This is one of the best power amps ever made. Only the very best parts are used to make these! This amp was made in the 80's, and sat safely in temperature controlled storage at the Rivera factory for 20+ years, wrapped in plastic. They were doing some spring cleaning, noticed they had a couple left, and are selling them as NEW OLD STOCK right now. These amps are going for $1500, direct from the factory before mark-up. The TBR series was Rivera's very first production amp, it is legendary in performance and build quality. The amp was burned-in by Rivera before shipping, I have about 45 hours playing time on it. It sounds heavenly! Comes with 4 space rack case. This works equally as well for guitar as it does Bass, and even as a PA amp! It can be switched down to 30 watts per side, but it also has power in spades if needed. I used it twice as a PA amp and it was the best sounding, warmest sound I heard from a PA. It pushes out about the same db's as the average 750 watt Solid State power amp. If you use stereo effects or multi-effects processors or modelers... THIS IS AWESOME! All Tube, 6L6's and 12AX7's. Point to point wiring. 2 channel. Rivera design, which has become very desirable in the past few years. 60 watts. 1x12 original Eminence speaker. Casters.
Cosmetically this amp is in great shape. No tears in the tiolex. Grille cloth is in good shape. Needs a new presence knob, cheap and easy fix. The presence control works fine, the black knob is stripped.
