The number of delinquent property tax parcels in Knox County, including the city of Galesburg, has risen only slightly this year. There were 578 properties from which taxes were not paid this year, according to Knox County public information officer Gary Tomlin, a small increase from the 574 delinquent parcels reported in 2008.
