Great video about how companies need to act like small and proactive teams or create these teams within the company.
Linda Dale is a Swedish singer/songwriter traveling the US with her partner in crime Simon Lindholm. We are helping them out as social media advisors and we set up their blog at http://daleproduction.wordpress.com (new self hosted Wordpress site will be launched in the future).
Last week we released two new episodes for two of our Swedish projects; Svisp TV and TorsdagsSurr.
Here they are:

Today we are launching one of our other projects called TorsdagsSurr. It’s a Swedish web radio channel in which me Linda Pierre and Tomas Nihlén talks about the future of entertainment online. Read more about it (in Swedish) at TorsdagsSurr.se and listen to our first episode of the NEW TorsdagsSurr (has been reborn into a new suit and on its own platform).
In this episode we talk about how we see more and more “live action” within the entertainment industry, to charge or not to charge for content online and finally how music is becoming more social online.
Enjoy!

We are currently preparing another launch in the podcast/Internet show area. It will be a audio show in Swedish about some current events that we will discuss in a very informal and relaxed maner. If you listen to some of the Twit.tv podcasts they have something they call “rat holes” = when the get totally off topic. Well I guess this show will be full of them, or it might be just a big rat hole the whole show..
Any way we hope people will enjoy it and as usual we are very open to feedback from listeners so that the show will grow in to something that is both entertaining to listen to as well as produce.
It will be called “TorsdagsSurr”:

The site is almost ready, but we have launched it anyway, since as you know everything is in beta anyway.
This podcast should be a nice addition to our current Internet show family which includes shows like FemKommaNoll.TV (video show about craft beer in Swedish) and Svisp TV (video show for a site we run about Swedes in Spain).
If you don’t speak Swedish, relax we will also launch some shows in English very soon…

We have launched a new site in Swedish called Svisp – Svenskar i Spanien. It’s about Swedes living in Spain. Since we ourselves are a lot in Spain at the moment due to a few upcoming projects we realized that it would be interesting to write and do videos about other Swedes in Spain.
Välkomstvideo för Svisp.se from Urban Lifestyle on Vimeo.
Besides the blog one of the most important parts of Svisp is Svisp TV, a Internet show about … yes you guessed it, Swedish people living in Spain. I will mostly do video interviews with other fellow Swedes to ask them why they moved here, what they do here and if there are any spots or places one shouldn’t miss if you would come and visit their new hometown. We’ll see what more Svisp TV will contain. Head over to the Facebook page to come up with suggestions and make your voice heard. You’ll find all our videos on Svisp’s Vimeo channel.
We also want to gather other type of information that Swedish people living in Spain (or about to) could be interested in. Like for instance which other Swedish bloggers that live in Spain and blog about their life here, Swedish companies and organisations active in Spain. We will also arrange small informal events, at the beginning only in Barcelona but hopefully we’ll be able to have meetups in other parts of Spain too. Too make sure you don’t miss an upcoming event, join us on our Facebook page.
We have a few “features” and parts of Svisp that isn’t launched yet. Are you in any way interested in what we do and want to reach this particular target group, send me an email at svispmail@gmail.com and we’ll talk!
You can besides joining us on Facebook and watching the Svisp TV episodes on Vimeo, also follow Svisp on Twitter and take a closer look at our Svisp pictures at Flickr.

We have been dabbling around with different video sharing platforms for a while now, but mostly the choice has been between Vimeo and Viddler. They are both really nice platforms with different pros and cons.
But a couple of days ago we finally decided to go with Vimeo and updgraded to a Vimeo Plus account. So from now on we will put all our new videos on Vimeo. You can find our Vimeo page here:

Each of our shows will have a Vimeo channel of their own on top of most of them having a site of their own.

Back in 2006 when we created the first website for Urban Lifestyle we used Wordpress, a great and simple CMS. Somwhere along the road we felt that we didn’t have the time and enegry to put into the site so we changed into a simpler Joomla site, and then to an even simpler HTML page with focus on linking to other social media destinations. But now we are putting this site back on the Wordpress train with new energy and a goal to update the site more or less regularly without promising to blog like crazy, if you know how we are then you know that we are more into video and audio production than blogging anyway.
So, hope you like the new site. All feedback is welcome as long at it is constructive..
