Here's an outtake of an oldie y'all might recognize. (btw: I never actually say y'all - only in type)
You can pick up these cool shirts from our friends over at Moltn.
On the news front, I made it into the final five for Mashable's Open Web Awards for Flickr Photog of the Year. So huge thanks to everyone that gave a nomination!!
Nevertheless, I took a peak at the listings this morning and... was losing badly.
So whadayasay we light the way with your final vote and show some strobist... uh... somethin. Yeah. Joke gone bad. K.
See ya tonight.

319/365. Nearing Departure — a bittersweet moment
A huge thanks for those who nominated me for Flickr Photographer of the Year. Time will only tell now to see if I'm in the top five. There's about 15 minutes left to nominate me if you didn't have the chance.
Anyhow, this is a shot I've wanted to do for a while — facing away with the barrel down Market street from Embarcadero. And now it's done.
I can't believe this 365 is so close to being over.
Weird.
So let's just jump to what's important here.

318/365. The convenient truth — it's just a few train stops away
This shot was pretty fun. Immediately after shooting it, it reminded me of An Inconvenient Truth, however the convenient truth is that as a photographer, I feel extremely blessed to live in a city like San Francisco where it takes 10 minutes of public transportation to get to views like this, even if it takes a dragon claw lookin' speedlight setup to light up the subject.
On another note, I want to encourage everyone again that if you've been enjoying this crazy 365 along with each setup with bizarre strobist info, then vote for me for Flickr's Photographer of the Year in the 3rd annual Mashable Open Web Awards.
And of course, without further reading...

317/365. Park & Ride — and take 'er for a spin
Haven't brought out the stubby in a while, and I think it's been a few months since I shot a bike. So I was only due.
On the Twitter front, I've slowly been building up a decent Photography List that you can subscribe to.
Lastly, if you've been following my work this year; and you still sorta like my work, vote for me for Flickr Photographer of the year - it would mean a lot.
Other than that, let's get to the important stuffs...

315/365. This is what I looked like, today — nothin' much else to it
I admit it, I'm extremely tired - and finishing this 365 is going to be a huge releif. Lately I stay up at the end of the day, stare at my camera, then my eyes begin to drift.
I have much bigger ideas than these living room portraits... but getting to them takes so much effort.
Anyway, I'm going to finish this beer off and crash. G'nite.

enjoy a glass of wine — pulled this one back from April when we went wine tasting with some friends.
it was a late night last night of shooting and nothing came out right. so i went with this one.
if i remember correctly, this place had a massive skylight above effectively turning the whole room into a big softbox - of one of the few things i remembered at least from that day.
cheers

312/365. And then the aliens showed up — experience the abduction
There I was minding my own business strolling around in my cart, and then all the sudden, wouldn't you know it. Aliens!!?
I know, right!?!!
Anyhow, it was a lazy Sunday, as all Sundays should be.
On the book front, I may end up going with Peach Pit Press. I am, nevertheless, still putting together a decent TOC that makes enough sense. My hope is to bring in some old content and introduce some new unseen content exclusively for the book.
And of course, for the here and now — here's the stuff you're looking for.

311/365. I am Michael — Meet Mr. Leggett
Today we had a pregnancy photoshoot (what do you call those?), and this was the Dad, a good 'ol friend from Google, Michael. We took a lot of great shots, but those are being delivered to them :)
strobist: just a simple one light setup, umbrella camera right. This is a look I will never grow tired from.
G'nite.

this is the remix
i must say, it's been getting quite busy around this time and the 365 is taking its toll - so with much apology; here's an outtake of similar photo some folks might recognize.
cheers.
(oh, and some strobist info for kicks)

304/365. I'm a School Girl — Happy Halloween
This is, without a doubt, Erin, looking extremely hot and sexy in her Halloween costume.
Unfortunately ,between getting a trick, or a treat... it looks like you'll be getting tricked into not getting strobist info tonight — even thought the big mama softbox came thru with a second performance.
And since it's nearing on 2AM, it's time to hit the sack. See ya tomorrow.

302/365. Resting. In Peace. — Come relax
So you thought I had left. Wrong. I was just resting. And awaiting that big, beatiful, Mama. Yep. 50 inches of big, gimassive light.
Yeah. It arrived this afternoon.
Yeah.
I was able to rush out to the Bay by 6:30 and managed to put together this shot in roughly 5 minutes before all hope was lost and my pink sky vanished.
Anyhow, be sure to check out the info on this shot - it makes me laugh everytime I look at it because the softbox is bigger than me!

299/365. A Missionary's Chair — have a seat
So... tonight I was kinda sorta more focused on something else than seeking a good shot. It was a setup/shoot/ and run kinda thing. Wasn't totally feelin' it... but think this setup for those seeking info.
Lastly, look forward to some "big light" coming within the next few days / weeks. A 50 inch softbox is on its way :)

It's Santa Mow! Yesterday was our 1 year anniversary for Erin and I. The camera never really came out. So here's another one from the archives.
This was our Christmas card from 2008 — it's our cat, Meow meow meow... in a Santa outfit. She ignored us for a good 3 hours after that.

297/365. cold shoulders, warm hands — well worth the larger view
I casually asked Erin if I could photograph her tonight... she told me to get things all setup, and then text her when I was ready. I finished the lights, pinged her, and she showed up in this outfit.
Awesome.
Anyhow, there's two others I wanted to post because there was literally no going wrong and it felt like every picture was a winner.
be sure to see both of them.
And of course, most importantly...
