Cheryl Cole performing her #1 single "Fight for this Love" on Children in Need. She's had amazing journey with Girls Aloud and is succeeding well as a solo artist now too. The single is still in Top 10 of UK Singles Chart and she's enjoying great sales as well. The performance was well done, bit diffirent and she performed it live (or at least it sounds like she did) on a backing track and did a great job. It will be interesting to see what she is capable doing in US charts when she'll get her music released there. But up next it's european release, according to sources.

Digitalspy reports good news for Britney-fans."Britney Spears will release the follow-up to 2008’s Circus in late spring 2010, it has been confirmed. According to her record label Jive, the singer is working towards a May release for her seventh studio album.
US songwriter Sean Garrett recently confirmed that he is penning material for the new record. The 27-year-old is also expected to team up with Max Martin, who wrote previous hits including '…Baby One More Time', 'If U Seek Amy' and current single '3'. Spears released The Singles Collection on November 16."
Looks like the reports about the planned spring release was true and that they are on their schedule at the moment.

The Saturdays and their brand new video for "Ego". The girls appear innit as a super-hero's in quite a fantastic idea. Not the most orginal one but they really did great job with it and they all look absolutely fantastic. The single and the video should be just enough to make this their next Top 10 single and make the album skyrocket to Top 10 Albums in UK. Also because the album IS fantastic. If you haven't got the album yet, GET IT because it offers even better songs than these two singles.

Beyonce's new video, "Video Phone" which is collaboration with Lady Gaga. Unofficially after seeing the video I want to say unofficially that the video is such a tranny mess. But it was officially pretty fantastic! I mean, they have probably laughed throughout the whole day in set with all of the stuff they had to do for the video. Beyonce looks slutty but nice. Sometimes the make-up and styling(?) has been brought to bit extreme but that's what it was all about. Lady Gaga appeared on it too, but I'm shocked about Gaga's changed looks or is it just the make-up that makes her look so diffirent from the beautiful starlett who featured in "Poker Face" video. Her wave could've been also bigger, now her hair just looked half-arsed with the thin extentions. It was fantastic, fun, sexy video just making fun of all the fun and sexy videos out there.
These two girls are pretty awesome aren't they? Can't wait for the Hot mess of "Telephone" video! No word about it yet, whether it was shot at the same time or will it be shot in near future. "Video Phone" unfortunately is far from the strongest hit material on "I Am..." but with a little help of Gaga, she'll probably turn this into another worldwide hit.

Sean Garret and Danja are already working with Britney Spears on new music for her upcoming album. If you think she'll slow things out with "Singles Collection" while being on tour, you got another thing coming. She's been recording in studio with Sean Garrett who'se behind such hits as Pussycat Dolls "Buttons", Ashley Tisdale's "Crank It Up" and wrote "Toy Soldier" for Britney. Danja was mainly behind her in "Blackout" and "Kill the Lights" from "Circus". So it looks like they are going to darker, electric and edgy direction of "forgotten" but best Britney album "Blackout".Britney's latest single, "3" is shaping up to be a worldwide hit. She just scored another Top 10-single in UK this week too.

While Sugababes had their new single "About A Girl" peaking at #8 this week with over 41 000 copies sold, they are already preparing their next single which could be changed from "Wear My Kiss" that was confirmed as a single weeks ago. Girls told in a radio interview that they are either releasing "Wear My Kiss", which they premiered as a new Jade's version last week or the new song called "Crash and Burn". They've been recording new songs in studio with Jade and everything is going well. Also, they recorded a christmas song at rehersals last week and the label is up for releasing it for christmas. While the new songs are being recorded for UK's edition of their upcoming album to be released on February or March, they will release European edition early. Germany and few other european countries will get the album next month.

Shakira and her new US video "Give it up To Me". It features scary-looking, probably most overrated rapper Lil' Wayne and Shakira with various of female dancers shaking it up. Video is pretty much as cheap as the limited US album release with live bonus tracks. But she ends up recovering the video pretty well so in the end it's pretty decent after all of those great dance routines. But you can't say that you didn't laugh or even cried during few scenes of the video that got to be the cheapest video effects produced this century. In the end, the song IS fantastic and it should make every booty bounce in the clubs and no matter how recycled this Timbaland's beat is, another hit is born.
Only thing I wonder is, why was all the budget used in European video "Did it Again"?

Ashley Tisdale is releasing a 7-song EP following her sophomore album titled "Guilty Pleasure". "Rebirth" is expected to reach stores in March, 2010. Singer/actress Ashley Tisdale is set to release an EP including six brand new tracks and the single version of the track "Crank It Up" featuring guest vocals by Jay Sean, best known by his number one hit "Down". "Rebirth" is expected to be released under Warner Bros. Records in March, 2010, following her sophomore album titled "Guilty Pleasure".Tisdale described the EP as an interlude of her debut albums and her upcoming album. The EP will be included as a bonus disc in a Deluxe Edition of "Guilty Pleasure" internationally. The EP's lead single, "Crank It Up (Remix)", is being released in January, 2010.
So basically Ashley does Pussycat Dolls with releasing a new EP after comercially dissapointing album to attract new buyers and to release more material? Does this mean "Guilty Pleasure" era is over?

It's time for another Battle of the songs. It's battle between the collaboration of Beyonce and Lady Gaga and vise versa. It's quite interesting and genious project of both acts joining together to release duets as their next singles. "Telephone" was supposed to be for Britney but Gaga took it back and Beyonce's "Video Phone" was re-recorded with Gaga's vocals. So which one do you prefer?

Cheryl Cole releasing her next video for "3 Words". Some of you might have seen this clip when it was released on MSN few weeks ago, but we only got the alternative link for it now. The song is a collaboration with Will.I.Am but neither of the stars are featured in this clip, but it's a mini movie with actors. This version was made for early TV-Play because the song has started to rise on charts, but the real one was shot few days ago. The song itself starts off as a huge letdown with weird structure and melody and just Cheryl's and Will's thin vocals. The lack of structure in beginning is slowly recovered when the beat starts but it's like half good/half bad song so there's no guarantee of how will it do on charts. But it's Cheryl Cole so it'll probably be a huge hit and it's a grower anyway. Next up, we'd love to see "Stand Up" and "Parachute" becoming singles. After all, even if this would flop, she has #1 single and #1 album to be counted on her solo career so we're gonna see probably the four singles they're planning to release.

On thursday 12th of November, it was my chance to attend P!nk's second consert in Finland and first one I was able to go to. The whole arena to be filled up for her and it was just crazy because tickets arrived on sale back in early march, probably because the label wanted to make sure that there would be enough tickets sold. But it in the end it turned out to be sold out in just days. "Evermore" was a band that opened for her but they weren't exactly my cup of tea. They also suffered techincal issues and stopped in the middle of a song because of the playback problems. It was pretty embarrasing for them, although they coped with it like professionals. After the hours of waiting, headache and legs hurting it was finally time for her to come and the show was on. Here's a review of the gig with my pictures and with few video links added.
She kicked the show off with a video intro followed by "Bad Influence" and people went insane. The crowd was definately in to her by their reactions and the fact that the gig went sold out in matter of days. She has so much energy going on and she interacts with the audience so well. While the first songs, including "Just like a Pill" went by pretty quickly with no pause, she took quite a few breaks from the set to be communicating with the crowd and joking on stage. It was also fun to see how she cracked up at the responses of her joke's too, she was all real. She then performed "Who Knew", the song that needed to be re-released in US before the fans made it Top 10-single. Which is sad though, because the song is absolutely beautiful and definately one of the best songs she's written. She performed it pretty well but the placement in the setlist was poor, so it almost went unnoticed. She also performed "Don't let me Get me" and after the lyrics mention Britney Spears, she tapped to microphone like she was testing it. It was her joke on the Britney's miming on stage.
One of the highlights was her cover of "I touch myself" that at first sounded like an interesting idea and that it could've been thrown together with "Fingers" as a medley but it wasn't. It was sensual, softcore sex on stage with P!nk lying on sofa with hands of dancers coming from within the couch and touching her all over. Afterwards she performed songs like "Please don't leave Me" and "U + Ur hand". The latter got the crowd absolutely crazy because it was huge radio-hit in here too. Surprisingly she performed "So What" in the halfway of the setlist, when I though it would be at least encore of being such huge hit. Once again it got overwhealming reaction from the audience and no wonder - it was #1 single here in Finland.
She also performed ballads, "I Don't Believe You" and ballad version of "Family Portrait". While performing her current single, she joked with the audience about her limited guitar playing skills and that the audience had to be quiet while she started playing, otherwhise she'd "fuck up". Crowd responsed to it with clapping and cheering that made her laugh. Her vocals were fantastic in both performances and she got very emotional in "Family Portrait". The stage setup was also beautiful.
Throughout the show, the stage was very well put together. Definately visually one of the best gigs I've been to. Lights were beautiful and she followed the carnival theme well. The theme of the tour has been ironically compared to Britney's current "Circus" tour but these two show's follow diffirent ideas. Britney's is clearly a classic circus with modern twist while P!nk's theme is a vintage carnival with elements of circus and trapeze performances. There is no saying who did better now that I've seen both, because they are so diffirent and because I just am bigger Britney-fan.
One of the tracks that got me excited was "Sober", a performance that I was anticipating. From what we all saw at MTV awards, her breathetaking trapeze work was amazing and it was taken from the tour routines. The song started and I got goosebumbs all over but she failed to be lifted from the ground but one of dancers did the tricks while P!nk performed the song on stage. It was bit underwhealming but it still got great reactions from the crowd and it looked just amazing. It was one of the best performances from the night despite P!nk not doing the routine herself. It was said that her arm was sore so she didn't do it herself.
"Funhouse" was another highlight of the night surprisingly. It was well placed in the setlist and she performed it with great choreography and energy. She really has fun on stage and it looks like she enjoys every minute and it effects to audience. She finnished the song and performed "Stupid Girls", another huge hit from her and halfway through she picked up blonde wig and performed the song wearing it. Then she performed a cover of Gnarls Barkey's "Crazy" and left the stage before encore.
The set was fantastic but there was few things I could've changed. First of all I don't understand why she removed "It's all your Fault" from the setlist, because it's one of the brightest moments from the album and could be released as a single. I also think that Queen-cover "Bohemian Rhapsody" was pretty much unneccessary and I could've done better without the Led Zeppelin cover included. "Dear Mr President" was again performed in same style than she did on last tour, so she could've left the song out from the list or change the setup. Despite that, she had pretty good setlist.
Encore was "Get the Party Started" and finnishing the show with "Glitter in the Air". Personally, I found it odd to finnish the show with a ballad but it worked pretty well anyway. "Get the party started" didn't work as well as back in the day and it was pretty lame to be thrown to encore instead of a song like "So What". No doubt that it's her biggest hits but it sounded bit dated and the new version didn't add much of anything to it. It didn't have any effect like that on crowd, because she was cheered to the very end of the show and people really were into it. And no wonder, because she is great performer and vocalist. Personally I wasn't the biggest fan in the beginning with but I've watched her moves closely through her career and bought and listened to her music. This was one of the best gig's I've been to and I definately suggest anyone considering to attend her gig to go and have fun and also to purchase the live DVD.Watch some other videos from the gig from here, here and here!

Sugababes and their first TV-Performance of "About A Girl" with the new line-up. They appear to be singing live, but you can tell that it's done with pre-recorded live vocals because they suck at lipsyncing but they've progressed with their dancing a bit. This performance wasn't bad at all so few of these more and we'll have a huge hit.
Remember to support the girls and download the single digitally or buy the CD-Single featuring remixes and exclusive poster!

Rihanna and her new video for "Russian Roulette". It's pretty much all you expected from the video, it's bit scary, it's shocking and it's edgy and dark. Rihanna's new style is starting to really sink in though, even though it looks like she's trying to make herself look whiter if you know what I mean. The song is amazing and such a grower and the video represents the song well. I wonder how much of this will be edited to certain countries.

Shakira showing off that her hips don't lie, while she's performing "Give up to Me", her latest US Single release on Letterman. The choreography looks sexy and the song itself is so club-friendly and catchy so it should be a hit on it's own. But the video for the single will premiere later this week. Her vocals didn't exactly shine in this performance, but she wasn't bad. It's just hard to perform a song like this with lots of harmonies in chorus and with no Timbaland. Video should be pretty hot. Shakira is doing really well this time around.
Watch her performing "She Wolf" and "Did it Again" in another show.

The Saturdays performing their new single "Ego" for the first time. Girls did alright with it, vocally not their strongest performance but they hardly ever fail to make fantastic performance and this time around they did well too. They looked great and they will probably enjoy some more success with this single and it will hopefully effect on the album sales. The single will have it's video premiere on Saturday 14th at 12.00am on ITV2. December 14th is the rumoured release date of the single release.
