[MISCS] Go Emeritus

Obsolete guys usually behaves like "poison" in any organizations, of course including the Apache Software Foundation. Spontaneously "emeritus" status would be highly recommended. New Apache Committers are not aware of the history, but history is simple. God bless you to the Foundation. From Ex-Sponsor of the Apache Software Foundation.

The most Infamous Bureaucratic Open Source Foundation in the World

Dear the readers of Apachenews.org.

At 18th November 2009, My birthday, The Board Members of The Apache Software Foundation ( http://www.apache.org/foundation/ ) decided (*) to remove tetsuya@apache.org (Tetsuya Kitahata --- This Apache News Editor) from the Foundation.

I can not understand the reason, still. However, one of the board members at the Apache Software Foundation wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible (in order to hide his mistakes etc.), it appears to be.

However, there exist really weired things.

Take a glance at http://www.apache.org/howitworks.html please.

The reason of the ex-sponsor (who did not say nothing on the "childishness" of the public relations committees etc. for long), three times votes and approved as a committer, and Apache News Online Editor OUGHT to be KILLED by Apache.Org? == Can you find there?
Rather, I was the sponsor, the first individual sponsor of the Apache Software Foundation -- http://an.to/asf -- and in normal sense, it would be nonsense to get rid of me.

They are priviledged to make me COMMIT SUICIDE?

(*) Legally speaking, this is not approved formally. The "minutes"' next or next/next "minutes" decides the conversation was really approved or not. So, not final decision in a sense. Recall bureaucratic APACHE! -- move to other Foundations which operates Open Sources well!

Cound not COMMIT SUICIDE

Dear the readers of Apachenews.org.

I am open to network with all professionals across various disciplines as it is my strong belief that we are all citizens of the world and we can all learn/gain from each other in a mutually beneficial manner. Every new person met has the potential to be a true #MASTER MIND#, you will only discover this by getting out and interacting

Please relieve that I, Tetsuya Kitahata, could not do the suicide because of the lack of money for alcohol. So many responses were there that I received. Thank you to ALL. Yours,

-- Tetsuya Kitahata -- mailto:kitahata@99.alumni.u-tokyo.ac.jp -- http://www.linkedin.com/in/tetsuya

I WILL COMMIT SUICIDE

Dear the readers of Apachenews.org.

Editor, Tetsuya Kitahata, will commit suicide in a few days. (maybe today) -- have enough medicine to execute. I really appreciate your reading in the past and thanks to you.

I was really disappointed by the Apache's bureaucratism. and I got a lot of fraud. So tired in Life.

Hope you will find the right place to do your business of own ,and collaborate with special guys.

Before writing this: I should clarify this fact. I was elected as committer by "THREE TIMES" at *@*.apache.org mailing lists before becoming a first individual and outside USA sponsor ( http://an.to/asf ). Anyone can not buy @apache.org account : declaration:

----

As an ex-sponsor of the apache software foundation I would like to write various thing here.
Before that, to be honest, the current board members are so much OBSOLETE from my point of views. Compile the tasks and go emertus I recommend as an ex-sponsor (individual). December Last Year or around, I sent messages to all the members in @apache.org (committers + members) as a sponsor. In general, "I do not know button" would never happen (See the thanks.html PAGE, guys) - because just "archive" button exist - however some (generally) nuts had pushed "I do not know" button and my linkedin account suspended for a few days.

(My heart was just saying in cruel: at that time) See the thanks.html page, MEMBERS!

Plus, my sponshorship was not "tax-deductive". Understand that?

Gradually found out there lays the critical difference between the USA/European Foundations/NPOs and Japanese ones.

One of the NPOs which I am getting involved (donating) in -- named "Tsubasa" (for the gifted in Japan / NPO -- "tsubasa = wings") : Tsubasa's chair said to me "it is not a good joke because there are persons who donated 2000USD or more to us". (It was just a mistake of him: I was just joking as I knew the policitians and chair of the re-form of japanese gov. -- 12 years, so just joking) This attitude is Japanese NPOs' style. Normal attitudes towards the donators. All the components (Apache members) should "thank" to those donated or sponsored as a matter of course -- this IS the rule of NPOs at least in Japan.

..... And "I don't know button"? .... and spam? ... and abrupt suspension?

Cultural difference or the arrogance of the bureaucratic Foundation, which operates OPEN sources -- anyways. My heart is crying .... Today is my birthday.

The Apache ZooKeeper team is proud to announce Apache ZooKeeper version 3.1.1.

ZooKeeper is a high-performance coordination service for distributed applications. It exposes common services - such as naming, configuration management, synchronization, and group services - in a simple interface so you don't have to write them from scratch. You can use it off-the-shelf to implement consensus, group management, leader election,
and presence protocols. And you can build on it for your own, specific needs.

If you are upgrading from version 2.2.1 on SourceForge be sure to review the 3.0.1 release notes for migration instructions.

For ZooKeeper release details and downloads, visit: http://hadoop.apache.org/zookeeper/releases.html

ZooKeeper 3.1.1 Release Notes are at: http://hadoop.apache.org/zookeeper/docs/r3.1.1/releasenotes.html
