TNT© Fireworks is currently seeking Seasonal Merchandisers to set product in area grocery stores.

You would be part of a merchandising team responsible for setting and servicing TNT® products in local grocery stores for the July 2010 promotion; throughout the months of May and June. Stores will require 1 to 2 visits depending on their location and sales volume. Merchandising experience is a plus!!

Merchandisers are paid by the visit; all stores are assigned a specific number of sets and visits per promotion. All Merchandisers must have daily access to email and be familiar with the internet, as well as have the ability to fax.

Return phone calls, emails and requests from manager in a reasonable, business time frame.

Work Performed

* Work with Marketing to design weekly emails.

* Design, layout and create web pages (i.e. HTML and images) for each J. Peterman product available on our websites. Work with merchandiser and writers to collect content for J. Peterman products’ web pages.

Required Qualifications at this Level

Education/Training:

Job Purpose
The Retail Sales Merchandiser (RSM) is responsible for servicing and selling to retail accounts within an assigned territory to ensure Client standards are met and volume is increased. Job Responsibilities
Store Call Coverage: must have the ability to manage time and prioritize.
Distribution: will work to meet Client and Company objectives by maintaining full distribution on existing SKUs.
Customer Relations: must have the ability to communicate effectively both internally with ASM management and externally with all Customers.
Sales and Merchandising: will maintain Client objectives by ensuring secondary placements of product(s) are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics.
Shelf Standards and Conditions: will work on the authorization of items to meet Client shelf schematic standards. Must be able to take direction regarding tagging, rotating, and placing POS materials for products on shelf.
Territory Management: ability to build rapport with Clients and Customers alike. Must be prepared to field questions and proactively develop plans of action in regards to resolving issues.
Client Audits: ability to prepare for and respond to audits.
Administration/Reporting: will complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports, recaps, itineraries, timesheets, expense reports, etc.

Must demonstrate good judgment and show respect for others.
Safety: must have the ability to perform the job safely by demonstrating full awareness of his/her surroundings. Will utilize proper safety techniques and equipment use when necessary. Will be proactive in alerting Management of any unsafe act or condition to prevent injuries.
