As you all know I spend my days designing awesome wordpress themes but not today. My host had a black out today causing all my sites to be down. This is unforeseeable but shouldn’t happen either way. I know its been a long time since I have posted anything on this blog. I apologize for it, whole heartedly. I had been very busy for the last couple of months with one of my personal project and just couldn’t find time or should I say devote time for this blog. But now, I am free. Hopefully I will make this site livelier, much better….. much more.. you get the point? Don’t you?

It is amazing, how Vedic Maths, can change the way you look at Mathemathics. One subject I would always keep a safe distance from… not anymore. This transition happened after I joined Adi’s Workshop on Vedic Maths on a friend’s request. In fact, after the workshop finished I took the opportunity to introduce myself to him. We met again a couple of times after that. It is during these meetings, I put forth the idea of him starting his own blog, on Vedic Maths.
Reluctant at first, Adi finally agreed and started spending his time, doing an intensive search on blogging. His search landed him to sketchcasting, a different and a new way of blogging. He showed me the site and I must say the concept looked interesting to me.
To understand the concept of Vedic maths, it is important to represent it well. Like we can grasp it on a white/black board, we can’t, any other ways. Sketchcasting gives that kind of a freedom to the blogger.
Without losing much time, I designed the site on sketchcasting, ready for Adi’s use. With it he can show step by step illustration on solving difficult maths problems, in an easy Vedic way. Sketchcasting completely complements the elements essential in teaching of Vedic Maths.
