I’ve put away the scale and stopped weighing myself because it’s not a good way of measuring my success. My fear has been that I’ll gain weight if I didn’t weigh myself regularly. I’ve come to term that it’s time to let go and start living in a state of flow.
The reason why it’s such a struggle to lose weight is because of internal conflicts such as “I want to eat that cake, but I know it’s not healthy” or “I want to exercise, but I don’t really feel like it”. I need to re-connect with what I really DO want and live in the now and stop procrastinating.
I’m making a lifestyle-makeover by massively purging my possessions to regain clarity and refocusing on total well-being.

This is working very well. Eating a variety of foods at dinner time is a major help! I don’t go for an extra meal before bedtime as I usually do. I don’t overeat and I don’t crave junk food either.

I’m sedentary most of the time, but when I started standing most of my day my body is working better and my weight doesn’t creep up!
I got rid of the computer desk, and use the drawer instead. It works perfect, cables are hidden and I got some extra storage.

The more stuff you have, the more space you’ll need, and it takes time and energy to clean and de-clutter.
I don’t like to collect things, but I’ve never throw them away either. It’s hard to throw away everything at once, but I find it easy when doing it gradually. I’ve throw away some kitchen appliances and clothes. I don’t need, for example, different kind of cutting boards, plates, glasses, or saucepans. Some electronic kitchen appliances are unnecessary, they’re taking up space, not easy to clean, and not easy to get them out from the cabinet because there’s too much stuff in there.
I keep those that I use regularly. Next, I’m planning to get rid of furniture, TV, and game consoles. Now it’s going to be easy to clean my home when there is nothing to organize or put away. No need to dust off something or de-clutter all the time. I prefer to do things I love rather than spending my time cleaning and looking for my stuff

I bought a few summer clothes (shorts and tops) yesterday at H&M, I’m very happy that I found something I can wear! During the week my weight went up a little bit but it looks fine now. Other form of exercises don’t work so well so I’m back to walking again. It’s a new week, let’s keep moving on!

Today’s dinner was Quorn beef, recipe is taken from a Swedish food magazine Ica buffet.

4 servings
10.5 oz (300g) quorn mince, thawed
0.4 cups breadcrumbs
½ onion, chopped
3 tablespoons peanuts, crushed
2 garlic cloves, crushed
1 egg
1 tabelspoon Japanese soy sauce
2 + 4 tabelspoons sweet chili sauce
1. Mix breadcrumbs with ½ cups of water in a bowl. Let it stand for a couple of minutes.
2. Add the onion, garlic, peanuts, quorn mince, egg, soy sauce, and 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce to the breadcrumbs mixture.
3. Mix till well-distributed and form 16 small patties.
4. Brush with oil on both side and grill for 4-5 minutes on each side
Serve with sweet chili sauce and salad.
