I´ve never been a huge super fan of Michael Jackson however I used to have a cassette at my

 grandparents summer house that I used to play over and over again. It was during one of those

 summers, when I was little, I attended a posh lunch with kids from wealthy families. I don´t really

 remember this because my mind is quite selective in what comes to bad experiences but my mum told

 me I got home really upset that day because all the kids made fun of me for being so vulgar to wear

 white socks with shoes. You all know I´ve made white socks part of my everyday outfits from a long

 time now and I think they must have been an unconcious tribute to M. J. but also, to that kid I was. I

 don't know why sharing this story with all of you today but I´d like to finish today´s post with a quote

Last week I was in Barcelona, one of my favourite cities, for the launch party of Wonder Projects.
I don´t normally tend to extend my stay when I travel for work but this time I had a few free days
ahead of me and decided to explore the city a little further with the boys (Gerard and David). We had
 countless yummy brunches, mojitos at magical locations, dinners at wonderful places, some shopping
 and, finally, some time off. I hope you all had a great weekend, and a great week ahead!

La semana pasada estuve en Barcelona para pinchar junto a un montón de invitados excepcionales en el
 lanzamiento de Wonder Projects. Aproveché que estaba en una de mis ciudades favoritas para explorar
 nuevos rincones de la ciudad condal junto a Gerard y David, hacer infinidad de ricos brunchs, mojitos
 en lugares mágicos, cenitas de estrella michelín, alguna que otra compra y, por fín, desconectar un
 poco. Espero que hayáis tenido un buen finde y que tengais una semana aún mejor!

And here it is, the last post from Dubai, enjoying Sunset beach at the best moment, dusk. It reminded
 me a little bit to Ipanema beach, in Rio de Janeiro, another beautiful place I was visiting exactly a year
 ago. These pictures were taken after a whole day of adrenaline at the Wild Wadi aqua park with Alex
 and Isabel, two amazing people we met in Dubai and that were so kind to take us and show us around
 (thank you guys!), and right before going for the second time to the Gold Souk. And from one beach
 to another, tomorrow I´m off to Barcelona for two days so tune in to my Facebook and instagram!

Y aquí esta el último post desde Dubai, disfrutando de la playa Sunset en el mejor momento, la puesta
 de sol. Me recordó un poco a la playa de Ipanema, en Rio de Janeiro, otro lugar precioso que visité
 exactamente hace un año. Hicimos estas fotos después de un día entero de adrenalina en el aquapark
 Wild Wadi con Isbel y Alex, dos personas increíbles que conocimos en Dubai que fueron tan amables
 de llevarnos y enseñarnos todo Dubai (¡gracias chicos!), y justo antes de volver al mercado del oro por
 segunda vez. Y de una playa a otra, mañana me voy a Barcelona por un par de días así que, como

After a few days in Dubai I had made the idea I was staying in a really modern city. A forty year old

 city with amazing people living in it and great business-like minds. However I was a bit disappointed

 when I turned up to a dinner dressed like this at a restaurant (that I won't mention so I don´t do any

 advertising) and I wasn´t allowed to go in, only girls in cheap dresses wearing less fabric than me and
 tacky high-heels were allowed. I thought, how can a modern and new city that hasn't even existed for
 half a century have all the prejudices from an old minded civilization? I mean, Dubai is amazingly

 contemporary in what has to do with architecture and infrastructure but so retarded in what has to 

do with fashion and with showing affection in public. It made me really sad but I guess you have to

 respect the rules there were you are, so now you are in katelovesme and this is well allowed here.

 Thank you London for being such an inspiring city and for teaching me to be free in all aspects of 

my life, you are the one!

Hot and sunny day in Dubai on my way to lunch with friends walking between palm trees and
 skyscrapers. I was looking forward to finally wear this year my always favourite summer outfit: white
 tee, black jeans and a straw hat. Like I always say what makes a simple outfit like this work every time
 is the accessories and this time I wanted to give it a touch of green with the snake leather Bvlgari
bracelet, Cartier watch and Chanel brick bag.

Hello from Dubai! I´ve been wanting to visit this city for a while so I´m happy to be here for such an 

special event: The opening party of Mahani store! I will on the decks dj-ing with David at the concept

 store in the Boulevard at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers this evening. So stay tuned, in the next post I

I wanted to start this week with this look, smarter than usual, wearing one of those looks I can wear to

 meetings during the day but also to dinner or events in the evening. Normally for me a new week

means a new journey, that´s why I´m so happy to say tomorrow I´m off to Dubai (soon you will know

 why), where the sun is shinning and temperature is about 30º! So yes, summer, here we come!

Anoche Davidelfin y Seagram´s Gin presentaron Ruido, un cortometraje dirigido por Diego Postigo,
 en el castizo Cine de Callao (Madrid). ¿La historia? No la voy a desvelar, solo diré que el guión de
 Felix Sabroso me puso los pelos de punta y que Leonor Watling y José Coronado están increíbles.
 Por eso no puedo evitar compartirlo aquí en Katelovesme para que lo veáis cuantas veces queráis
 y desearos un buen fin de semana.

Last night Davidelfin and Seagram´s Gin premiered Ruido, a short film directed by Diego Postigo, 
at the one and only Callao cinema in Madrid. The story? I´m not going to unveil it, I just want to say
 the script by Felix Sabroso gave me goosebumps and that Leonor Watling and José Coronado are
 incredible. That´s why I couldn't help but sharing it here on Katelovesme and 
wish you a good weekend.

It is an absolute honor to have my very own page in a magazine that I love so much and that I await so

Exactly a week ago Emporio Armani opened its doors of the new store in Serrano street in Madrid.
 That night friends and popular faces gathered at the store to celebrate the opening with good music and
champagne with Roberta Armani, host of the evening and niece of the designer. For the occasion I
wore one of my own Emporio Armani suits from a couple of seasons ago (they are a classic and have
 the perfect cut so they never go out of style). And since I don´t pretend to like everybody when I get
dressed but myself and there are already many men who dress impeccably elegant in their classic suits
and look much better than me, I gave my suit a fun twist inspired by the Samurai trend with a belt from
 this season (also from Emporio Armani) and sandals from the talented spanish designer Pepa Salazar.

The day we all wait for during the week is here: It´s finally Friday and it looks like Spring has finally
 arrived in town! In these pictures I´m wearing one of those casual looks that works every time,
  anywhere. If you are ever in doubt: Denim on black is a winner combination. I also noticed I´ve
 recently become a fan of the Henley t-shirts, they give the exact amount of ruralness to an outfit and
 make the neck longer. Also this might be my favourite denim piece ever, one of those London
 treasures I hope to keep forever. Happy weekend everybody!

El día que todos esperamos durante la semana está aquí: Por fin es viernes y pararece que la primavera
 ha llegado! En estas fotos llevo uno de esos looks que funcionan siempre, en cualquier momento. Si
 alguna vez dudáis: Vaquero y negro es combinación ganadora. También me he dado cuenta que
 últimamente me he vuelto muy fan de las camisetas de cuello Henley, que aportan un pequeño toque
 campestre al conjunto y, además, alargan el cuello. Y el chaleco vaquero, de McQ, es uno de esos 
tesoros londinenses que espero guardar para siempre. Feliz finde a todos!

 Sacristán, who I finally had the pleasure of meeting during Madrid Fashion Week, last february,

This time we shot these photos at another one of my favorite places here in Madrid: El Rastro. A world
 famous flea market that has been running every Sunday since 1740 at the historic neighborhood of La
Latina. Wore what I hope is one of my last winter looks before the nice finally hits topped up with my
 favourite rings from Barcena, Sansoeurs and Saint Laurent. If you visit this city you can´t miss it, it´s a
 great place for inspiration, antiques, furniture, 50´s porcelain or background for bloggers to shot at.

On my last trip to Marbella during easter holiday I could´t help but bringing home
with me these silk and rayon printed beauty from the s/s 2012 Balenciaga collection.
 50% motivated by how much I can wear these during this summer and the other 50%
motivated by how necessary I feel it is to preserve Nicolas Ghesquière legacy and for
people to remember the amazing work he did at Balenciaga. Who´s with me?

The most influential people in European fashion right now. Wow, been named like that is quite

 impressive when you read it, to be honest. This has been the biggest compliment of the year so far and

 the fact that I´m in such good company makes it double compliment: Susie Bubble (stylebubble), Yvan

 Rodric (facehunter) Sasha Wilkins (libertylondongirl), Garance Dore (Garancedore) and I were the
