Nicholas Negroponte likes to say that there are 1 million XO laptops in the wild, counting 100,000 XO laptops in Rwanda.  Seems his math is a little off - OLPC Rwanda has only passed out around 10K laptops:

All the TC-XO versions "suffer" from very small fonts in the menu and the windows tittle bar. So I recompiled flwm with bigger fonts.
To implement (till v.0.2 arrives) it just copy/paste the following in your terminal

I would think this is an init.d/udev issue. In F11-olpc init is build by dracut. You may want to take a look at these scripts and the order of things (just guessing Grin)

The XO draws 3-5 Watts, a marked improvement over the Asus. The XO can be charged by mechanical means (foot crank, bicycle crank, etc) by 1 person, but to do the same with an Asus, you'd need a team of people.
