This LinkShare module displays merchant products through the Merchandiser Query API. With the Merchandiser Query API, you can run a query against the Merchandiser data for Advertisers that you are partnered with. The full text search will return all products that match the randomized keywords designated in your admin panel. To save page loading time, the images are downloaded via cURL, and thumbnailed to your specifications (height x width). You can also edit the thumbnail to either grayscale or sepia tones, for site matching. Original images and thumbnail images are deleted after a set number of days specified in the admin panel. Joomla's ability to copy modules makes it easy to have multiple LinkShare products displayed, and using keywords to distinguish each module for relevance. To use this module your server requires GD and cURL.

PCChess is a component to play EMail chess games. It was originally written by Robert Prince as an extension for Joomla 1.0. Based on this code ( Version 0.8 ) I ported the component to Joomla 1.5 . All security issues should be fixed because I completly use the Joomla API in any matter. This port was sponsored by Fjodor Schäfer and the 'Dauerschach Community' ( a german chess community ). Due to the fact that Robert Prince didn't reply to any mail I send him, and the fact that PCChess was released under the GPL I took over the project.
