Mr. Sugiya of B Flat, Akasaka passes


I have just heard from a colleague at work that Mr. Sugiya of B-Flat, akasaka has passed.

Sugiya-san was a great lover and supporter of jazz in Japan.

He was also a garsicous and genorous man, having donated the use of his club for a Katrina benefit concert last month.
