Butterick 4629
Misses' Dress & Sash
circa 1970s
Loose fitting, tubular dress in two lengths gathered into one piece yoke, has all in one shaped collar and band, extension front closing extending into pleat, armhole bands and underarm insets, pockets in side seams, topstitch trim and shaped self sash wrapped twice around waistline. Optional patch pocket and topstitch trim on sash. Purchased top
Described as a "tubular" dress. Did they mean as in "totally tubular" 80s style? Probably not, as I'm pretty certain this is a 70s design. Personally I would describe this as a pullover dress. It's got some interesting details that, upon first glance, I completely ignored. Look closer - topstitched patch pocket and front band extension, sleeve bands, waist sash that wraps twice.
Not my size but if you're interested it's listed in my Etsy shop here.
