If you have kids like I do -- or maybe even if you don't -- Kraft Macaroni and Cheese Dinner is likely in your kitchen pantry right now. This American classic has been a favorite meal of children for decades, but could this comfort food be responsible for allergic reactions or other health problems? A group of women think so. In addition to the major food allergens milk and wheat, Kraft Mac and Cheese contains yellow dye #5 and 6 to add a "cheesy" color to the sauce, apparently in an attempt to make it look more appetizing. This group is complaining that the version of the Kraft product sold in the United Kingdom doesn't contain yellow dyes, and would like the dyes removed from the U.S. product. It'll be interesting to see if Kraft removes yellow dyes from their Mac and Cheese product -- and whether kids take notice of a new "less-than-cheesey" yellow color.
