Reasons to Love Hoodies
Do you know what every man needs? A really great hoody. I don’t care if they’re over-your-head types or zip-ups, every man who wants to look good needs to get hold of one of these. They’re no longer just for lazy Sundays or going running. It’s time to look at the hoody in a whole new light, and I’m going to tell you why.
The celebs are doing it, and looking good
It may not come as a surprise that sporty David Beckham has been spotted working a hoody, but teaming it with a shirt and tie and looking great does deserve a mention. This look proves that hoodies needn’t just be for casual wear.
If the reason you like the idea of a hoody is because it’s a casual item, you only have to look to the coolest guys in the music industry for inspiration on how to wear it, from bling-ed up to understated cool.
You’ll look good whichever way you wear it
When you wear a hoody, you’re showing you don’t need go over the top to look good. There are too many over-styled guys out there these days – we’re all getting man-glam fatigue. Team your hoody with light-coloured jeans and slightly dishevelled hair for a simple look that is easy to wear and on-trend.
On the other hand, if you like to look like you’ve put the effort in, hoodies can still hold the key. If you’re into blingy watches and designer shoes, opt for a sleek but masculine look by wearing a dark coloured hoody and dark jeans, and let your accessories do the talking.
You’ve got ready-for-anything style sorted
At a festival you’ll be warm and cosy in a hoody. Go for a dark-coloured one to stop it looking grubby as the days wear on, and team with loose shorts and wellies to stay looking good as you wade through the mud.
Hoodies are a great comfy choice for flights, and perfect to have with you on holiday if you don’t want to take a coat but don’t trust the weather.
Told you hoodies are great!
