Thanks Doug for those two great suggestions.

Re 1. The times this has occurred I was replacing a partially drained battery time with a freshly charged or topped off one to be ready for a full day of shooting. Also, I have a couple batteries that hold different amounts of charge. I will have to let one drain down in camera for recalibration.

Re 2. I have the original "button" backup battery that came with the camera. It's long over due for a fresh one, so I will replace that also.
