Prepare for another match-up between Rita Moore and Martín González.
Moore — the parent activist who applied for and lost the open position on Portland Public Schools’ board of education in August — says she is going to run in the May 19 school-board election against González, the candidate who was selected for the job by a majority of the sitting members of the board.
That news means there will be at least two contested school board races; economist Scott Bailey is running against lawyer Pam Knowles for another seat.
Trudy Sargent, who filed [PDF] last week, is so far unopposed in the third contest for PPS school board this May.
